Marilyn Anne Michaels
Marilyn Anne Michaels (“Millie” – Series Regular / Creator / Executive Producer / Writer) is a member of SAG, WGA and the IAWTV. Marilyn is a graduate of Chicago’s Second City Conservatory and has a BFA in Acting from the former Acting Studio at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She is currently spending her summer teaching a class about new media at UCLA, directing the stage play Little Women and teaching improv at Magic Mirror Theater Company. In addition to The Best Friend, you can also see her writing and acting in Episode 6 of The Last Hand on Strike.tv. Marilyn is originally from Texas but no longer has an awesome accent. Allie Smith (“Sooze” – Series Regular / Creator / Executive Producer / Writer) hails from the South of Texas and is a graduate of Chicago’s Second City Conservatory. She most recently appeared in Mark Ruffalo’s directorial debut Sympathy For Delicious, sharing the screen with Noah Emmerich. Beginning her career in Chicago, Allie has worked in theatre, industrials, commercial print, and film and can be seen in Shuteye alongside Stana Katic of ABC’s Castle, Steven R. Monroe’s Complacent, and Gary Under Crisis, official selection of the New York Television Film Festival. She eats a lot of meat. 
Donna Mathewson (Editor) is fast, funny, efficient and passionate about storytelling. She is also highly technical and easy to work with. She spent years as a CAD software engineer before running away to film school, organization and technical expertise are big part of her skill set. 
Anne Bielby (Animator) is a freelance writer and artist based in the Chicago area and is currently working on books for children. She has sold two feature articles to the Los Angeles Times Syndicate and one to the New York Times Syndicate. Anne’s features have been published in the Sacramento Bee, Chicago Tribune, The Plain Dealer, Chicago Sun-Times, The Gainesville Sun, Santa Cruz County Sentinel, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Ogemaw County Herald and elsewhere. Anthony R. Bielby (Musician / Songwriter: “The Ugly Friend”, “Stalkers”, “I Wished For”) is originally from the Chicago area and is a graduate of Los Angeles Recording School and has played bass and guitar for several bands including A Texas Funeral. He moved to LA in 2008 to pursue a career creating music for film and television. 
Lydia Blanco (Producer / Line Producer / Casting Director) is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. She started her career onstage in the theatre. She has dabbled in casting and now producing, and plans to make it all come together somehow. She began her on-camera career in independent films in Austin. Since moving to LA over 9 years ago, she has been fortunate enough to work with Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks in The Terminal, Kate Winslet and Jack Black in Nancy Meyer’s film The Holiday, and most currently in Ivan Reitman’s new film No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman and Ashton Kutcher, as well as Mark Ruffalo’s directorial debut Sympathy for Delicious along with Allie Smith. She works primarily in television with roles on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Prison Break, Desperate Housewives, and The Shield to name a few. 
Katrina Bolletta (Editor – Teaser) grew up in Oakville, Ontario. She destroyed the first family computer that she got her hands on. She was so fascinated with the technology and trying to make “Lemmings” run faster she ended up deleting everything. In hopes to fix it, she dismantled the entire thing piece by piece. Despite her fascination with technology, she wanted to stick to the arts. A graduate of Humber College, Film and Television Production with a major in Post Video and Post Sound Production — she wanted to create. Following graduation, she attended the Cannes Film Festival with Real Ideas Studio. While there, teams had to create short documentaries related to the city or the festival. Her team won Best Documentary for Le Dernier Endroit in 2008. Katrina has also won video editing contests such as Much Music’s Music Video Editing Contest for Finger 11: Talking to the Walls. 
Chris Carrea (Gaffer) was born in the United Kingdom and raised on Akwesasne, a Mohawk reservation on the Canadian/New York border, and in Colorado. Chris studied fine art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and completed a BFA at Otis/Parsons College of Art and Design. Currently, Chris is an MFA student at UCLA’s School of Film and Television. Chris’ work as a cinematographer, filmmaker, and artist has been shown internationally at Clermont Ferrand Film Festival in France, BizArt Center in Shanghai, and at the Tom Foundation in Amsterdam and has also won several awards including The Audience Award at Cinequest Film Festival 2009 and Student Academy Award Finalist 2004. Locally, Chris’ films have screened at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and Film Forum at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood. Chris is based in Los Angeles, and frequently works in Vancouver and New York. 
Dominic Conti (Writer / Associate Producer / “Jerry” – Recurring) has done a ton of theatre, been in some films, and shot some commercials. He regularly tours with 
Jay Coughlin (Writer – “Cleaning House”) has a BA from Umass/Boston, and is a commercial actor and playwright from New York City. He has had three successful staged readings of his play Tess — “Tess, a recovering party girl, meets the man of her dreams – days before her marriage to someone else.”
